Raw puerh tea (Sheng Puerh) refers to a style of tea processing that originated in the Xishuangbanna region of Yunnan Province, China.
It is a partially oxidised tea that retains the ability to further mature and evolve with age. L&T's offering is of loose Maocha, loose leaves that are usually steamed and compressed into the traditional shapes and forms that Puerh tea is renowned for.
Our raw puerh tea may taste grassy, floral, and/or bittersweet. The aromas and flavours can change dramatically depending on how hot the water is, the ratio of tea to water that you choose, and how long you brew for.
