This Japanese Sencha style green tea is purely Australian.
It is grown in the North-East of Victoria by a few farming families. Support them, their rural community and a promising fledgling industry. No pesticides have been used.
Yellow-green in the cup, Sencha has a mildly astringent grassiness with seaweed overtones. The ideal brewing temperature for this Sencha style green tea is between 70 - 75° C.
Boil some fresh water and cool it down by either adding
some cold water or by waiting. Use one teaspoon
(or 1 gram) per cup and infuse for one to two minutes.
